DISCOVERING FRIULI VENEZIA GIULIA’S ARTISTIC TREASURES
The FVG tours, organised by the festival in collaboration with Promoturismo, have now become a regular fixture for the Giornate’s guests and this year have adapted to our Limited Edition. Alongside the festival programming, these virtual excursions give the chance to discover the county on screen while we wait to meet again in person in Friuli Venezia Giulia.
The guided tours become virtual!
Would you like to get to know Friuli Venezia Giulia a bit more? There are two unique guided tours that were designed with you in mind!
We’ll help you uncover the gems of Cividale del Friuli with its rich Lombard heritage, as well as Gemona, the town splendidly reborn from the rubble of the devastating 1976 earthquake.
We look forward to be welcoming you to our region very soon, but in the meantime why not pick your preferred tour option, or even both, for an exclusive experience in a tucked away corner of Friuli Venezia Giulia.
In this virtual tour we will visit: Madonna delle Grazie, the old town centre, the photographic exhibition "1976: Fragments of Memory", the old town city shops, the Duomo di Santa Maria Assunta, the Museo della Pieve e Tesoro del Duomo, the Saint Michael Chapel, the head quarters of the Cineteca del Friuli and the Archivio Cinema del Friuli Venezia Giulia.
In this virtual tour we will visit: the historical centre, the medieval village, the Christian Museum, the Monastery of Santa Maria in Valle, the Longobard Temple, the Celtic Hypogeum, the Devil's Bridge, the Duomo di Santa Maria Assunta, a pastry shop and a jewellery shop.
